Näyttelijä Dean Stockwell on kuollut 7. marraskuuta kodissaan 85-vuotiaana. Hän kuoli rauhallisesti nukkuessaan.
Katsojat muistavat Stockwellin parhaiten vuosina 1988-1993 televisiossa pyörineestä Aikahyppy-scifi-sarjasta. Stockwellin uralla oli mittaa huikeat 70 vuotta.
Stockwell voitti Golden Globen roolistaan Aikahypyssä vuonna 1990. Kahta vuotta myöhemmin hän sai oman tähtensä Hollywoodin Walk of Famelle.
Hänet nähtiin myös David Lynchin Dyynissä (1984) ja Blue Velvetissä (1986).
Myöhempinä vuosinaan hänet nähtiin muun muassa Battlestar Galacticassa (2004-2009).
