Vuoden 2026 Golden Globes -palkintogaalan ehdokkat on nyt paljastettu julkisuuteen. Kuluvan vuoden televisio- ja elokuvatarjonnan parhaimmisto kilpailee yhteensä 28 eri kategoriassa. Ehdokkaat julkistettiin juhlallisin menoin; julkistajina toimivat näyttelijät Marlon Wayans ja Skye P. Marshall.
Elokuvapuolella eniten ehdokkuuksia onnistui keräämään itselleen One Battle After Another. Paul Thomas Andersonin ohjaama ja Leonardo DiCaprion päätähdittämä mustan huumorin draamatarina on ehdolla yhdeksässä kategoriassa.
Seuraavaksi eniten ehdokkuuksia elokuvista keräsivät seuraavat nimikkeet: pohjoismainen Sentimental Value (kahdeksan ehdokkuuta), vampyyridraama Sinners (seitsemän ehdokkuutta), tammikuun lopulla Suomessa ensi-iltansa saava Hamnet (kuusi ehdokkuutta) sekä musikaalijatko-osa Wicked: For Good (viisi ehdokkuutta) ja Guillermo del Toron Frankenstein (viisi ehdokkuutta).
Televisiopuolella suurin ehdokasrohmu oli tällä kertaa lomakohdedraama The White Lotusin kolmas tuotantokausi. Sille sateli ehdokkuuksia kuuden kappaleen verran. Hyvänä kakkosena sen perässä tulee Netflixin rankka minisarjahitti Adolescense viidellä ehdokkuudella.
