Italialainen giallo-näyttelijä ja -käsikirjoittaja, Asia Argenton äiti Daria Nicolodi on kuollut 70-vuotiaana.
Nicolodilla ja Dario Argenton ammatillinen ja romanttinen suhde alkoi vuonna 1974 Deep Redin kuvauksissa, jossa Nicolodi nähtiin vain pienen hetken, koska hän loukkaantui kuvauksissa. Asia syntyikin jo seuraavana vuonna.
Nicolodi käsikirjoitti Suspirian Argenton kanssa, sekä näytteli Argenton Deep Redin lisäksi Infernossa, Tenebraessa, Phenomenassa, Operassa ja The Mother of Tearsissa.
Pariskunta erosi vuonna 1985.
